“Cecelia is proficient, wise, knowledgeable, experienced, strong and savvy in so many areas ... and is guided by a strong connection to what is right.”

I have known Cecelia Hobbs Gardner for 34 years. We met when I subbed on her show, the original version of Sunday in the Park with George. We have since worked closely on many Broadway shows, at Lincoln Center, New York City Ballet, American Composers Orchestra, recording projects, chamber music and pop/jazz concerts.

Cecelia is proficient, wise, knowledgeable, experienced, strong and savvy in so many areas. In Spring 2017, we worked together in a small group focused on improving our present pension situation. We collaborated on suggested guidelines that we sent to the Trustees of the AFM-EPF and Cecelia, subsequently, wrote an article for Allegro where she incorporated many of the ideas we had been working on. I was struck by her sharp attention to detail, ability to understand, analyze, think creatively and see all sides. She has a keen intellect and great organizational skills and is guided by a strong connection to what is right.
